Private chats.
Real conversations.
Batuni is an end-to-end encrypted chat app — your messages are yours alone. Voice and video calls, groups, broadcast messages and encrypted backup, in one clean app.

Everything you need to stay close
Built for everyday chats — fast, private, and simple enough for everyone in the family.
End-to-end encrypted chats
Messages are locked on your phone and only open on your friend's phone. Not even we can read them.
Voice & video calls
Clear one-to-one voice and video calls, with automatic failover so a call keeps working even if one network path fails.
Groups
Family groups, class groups, team groups — share messages, photos and updates with everyone at once.
Broadcast
Send one message to many people, each in their own private chat. No group needed.
Photos, voice & video
Share photos, voice notes and videos, with your choice of what downloads automatically.
Encrypted backup
Back up your chats with a passphrase only you know. Your backup stays locked without it.
Calls that stay connected
Batuni calls run on two independent calling networks. If the first one is unavailable, the app switches to the second one automatically — you just keep talking.
- Call starts on the primary calling network.
- If it fails — no token, join error, or the service is down — the app moves the same call to the backup network by itself.
- Both people join the same network, so a call never splits across two providers.
Batuni Web
Soon you will be able to use Batuni on your computer too — just like WhatsApp Web. Open the Batuni app on your phone, scan the QR code on this page, and your chats appear in the browser. Your messages stay end-to-end encrypted.
Batuni Web is not available yet. The QR-code login is being built — this page will be updated the day it goes live.
